Project Management
Project management is the process of organising the components of a project. It involves the application of methods, skills, knowledge and experience to achieve project goals within the given constraints. Our project management service aims at delivering satisfying projects without compromising quality, performance, timing and cost-in-use.
With over a decade of experience in project management, Kene Onuora Consulting has the capacity to put together all professionals involved in your real estate project and oversee the entire operation. We lead the development team, coordinating the functions and activities of all members of the team, including the main contractors. We also motivate and co-ordinate all stakeholders to achieve project completion on schedule and within the planned budget.
The primary challenge of project management is to achieve all of the project goals and objectives while regarding the estimated constraints. Typical constraints include scope, time, and budget. The secondary – and more ambitious – challenge is to optimise the allocation and integration of inputs necessary to meet pre-defined objectives.
Development phases of a project
- Project initiation stage:
To kick off your project, we involve all stakeholders and define the project. We create a document that provides an overview, purpose and requirements of the project. If a feasibility study is implicated in this project, we complete it at this stage.
- Project planning stage:
At this stage, we define the scope of the project by setting Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely goals. We also define the roles and responsibilities of everyone involved in the project and put together a team while working within your budget.
- Project execution or production stage:
Here, the project is officially kicked off and team members begin to complete their deliverables. We ensure constant status reports and updates to you to ensure the team is working within your vision.
- Project performance and monitoring:
By using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), we ensure that the project is on track. Some important KPIs we pay attention to include costs, quality and project objectives.
- Project completion stage:
At this stage, the project is completed and we must formally close it. We call a stakeholders meeting to evaluate the project, including its success and failures. We also note the things that were not accomplished and work with you to figure out a solution. Finally we prepare and present a project report to you, and take suggestions on how we can make the next project better.
